Vehicle GPS Tracker with TCP or UDP Protocol Tk116

GPS Tracking device Tk116 can be configured with TCP or UDP protocol based on customers' requests.TK116 is set with TCP protocol by default. It keep the connection between GPS Tracker and server all the time. 

TCP ptotocol
TCP is a transmission protocol based on IP network. It establishes a stream-like tube between device and server. It provides reliable, ordered and error-checked delivery of a stream of octets. Any data enter the tube, they will arrive their destination with correct content in correct order.

TCP protocol is long connection. After the connection is established successfully, the heartbeat package will be sent periodically in a specific interval. The reason is to keep the connection and to detect the availability of the connection. If all acknowledge of 3 heartbeat package are not received, current session will be disconnected and a new one will be established. This mechanism only exists in the protocol based on TCP.

UDP ptotocol
UDP has no handshaking dialogues, it exposes the device to any unreliability of the underlying network. There is no guarantee of delivery, ordering protection. As a result, an extra encapsulation must be applie on all transmitting package.
